I felt it, fans' felt it, Minneapolis felt it, Minnesota felt it, the nation felt it, the world felt saddness the day our Prince went away!

I was on my lunchbreak and suddenly my phone started blowing up with concerned texts, "I just heard Prince passed away, is it true?" I turned on the radio and was taken back to hear When Dove's Cry playing and immediately I knew the unthinkable was real. I felt a need to go to downtown Minneapolis that evening and was so happy to see the immediate response with many shades of purple glowing throughout the city as the tributes began. It was a couple of days before I could make my way out to Paisley Park and was really moved by what I saw and felt. The following gallery is what I captured on those two occasions.
