It was a celebration long in the works that included a proud and enthusiastic introduction by St. Paul Mayor, Chris Coleman. The newly renovated Palace Theatre opened to Twin Cities music fans March 10th, poetically hosting the "Welcome to Minnesota 2017" tour featuring local Hip Hop royalty Atmosphere as the headliner. There was a real sense of excitement that sustained throughout the entire performance as lucky ticket holders explored the historic room and picked out what will be their favorite listening spots for years to come.

I'm happy to report that the sound was very good and the multi-tiered layout offers great sight lines throughout. I must also give props to the staff who were both pleasant and helpful, which added to my overall experience. With a solid partnership in First Avenue and Jam Productions, this entertainment venue will absolutely raise St. Paul's social scene a notch and is sure to stay booked solid with premium acts.
