There always seems to be an added level of enthusiasm when an artist is performing new material live for the first time. This was certainly the case April 28th at St. Paul's Turf Club as Chris Bartels performed his new album "Myths and Mold" from start to finish. He opened the set with a couple tunes from his earlier solo project and also included one local cover before debuting the new songs. His exceptional band enabled Bartels to deliver his new project at a level that was nothing short of impressive.
