Guitar fans had a rare opportunity to enjoy a solo acoustic set from Eric Johnson in support of his new album, "EJ". Johnson is known for his meticulous attention to every detail that can have an effect on achieving great tone and usually assembles a complex rig for his electric show. It was fantastic to witness what an exceptional talent he is without all the bells and whistles. He performed a selection of tunes including old and new material and in addition to his guitar mastery, also played piano and sang.
