It was great to see a nice turnout for JJ Grey and Mofro at First Avenue, 12/01. The band's fan base has certainly grown and will continue to based on the enthusiastic crowd response they received in Minneapolis. Their music has such and interesting blend of styles dripping with Southern flavor and is delivered in such an honest and believable fashion. First Avenue was the perfect room for this show and it sounded great, making for a worthwhile and memorable experience.
