Followers of the Minneapolis sound have seen each of these women performing in various line-ups that Prince had assembled over the years. Recent news that Liv Warfield, Judith Hill and Shelby J were planning a show together in Minneapolis had the Dakota Jazz Club Twitter account buzzing with excitement.

It materialized into a tremendous performance in which these three gifted singers offered up a sampling of their own material individually before joining forces to close out each of the two memorable shows on March 18th.
